Specificity
Training is shaped by the event, course demands, athlete history and the realities of the calendar.
Blur Coaching combines elite racing experience with practical, human coaching for athletes who want training that fits real life and performs on race day.
I am Blair Loggie, a former professional triathlete from the United Kingdom. I went from my very first triathlon to becoming Overall Age Group Winner at IRONMAN 70.3 St. George and 2x Overall Age Group Winner at IRONMAN 70.3 Andorra in just 1.5 years.
That explosive start led me to train under Jono Hall with the Canadian Olympic Triathlon Team, where I trained alongside athletes like Tyler Mislawchuk preparing for Tokyo, before racing events as a professional.
Blur Coaching exists to give athletes access to the structure, standards and decision-making that shaped that progression, without pretending every athlete has the same life, background or training capacity.
2x Overall Age Group Winner experience informs the way race builds are planned and executed.
The best coaching is not a spreadsheet of hard sessions. It is a steady process of choosing the right work at the right time, then adapting with confidence.
Training is shaped by the event, course demands, athlete history and the realities of the calendar.
Fitness only matters if the athlete can absorb it. Progression, recovery and strength all have a role.
Race day is trained in advance: pacing, nutrition, mental control, transitions and decision-making.
Athletes need direct feedback, clear priorities and an honest view of what matters most each week.
I am here to support you through the highs and lows of training and racing: the tough training blocks, the setbacks, the race day nerves and the celebrations.
The goal is not just to hand you sessions. It is to help you understand the work, trust the process and arrive at your race knowing why you are prepared.
